Hip-hop isn't just music, it's a whole vibe! Started in the 70s in NYC, this culture brings everything together: beats, street art, fashion and fat moves. It's about expressing yourself freely and being part of the fam. Streetdance is the heart of it – raw, full of energy, spontaneous and extremely nice.
Breaking, popping, locking and hip-hop (freestyle). These styles emerged on the street, in parks and at block parties – the absolute foundation and culture.
Commercial dance emerged later in the studios – for pop stars, stage shows, music videos and today TikTok. It mixes streetdance moves with jazz, pop and killer stage performance.
